6 months old today...

Oh my!  How the time does fly!  I have heard that so much from new moms - but it really is SO true!  I wasn't sure I would continue this blog after my pregnancy... I guess I saw it more as something to do for family and friends; to journal about how things were going during the pregnancy and all that travel!  A good friend reminded me that she does still follow my blog - but there hasn't been anything to read!!!  I will continue this as best I can, and as often as I can.  It will be to my Hunter.  Here goes...

Hunter - my lil man... I have SO much love for you!  I am on my first trip away from you, away from daddy, and away from home.  I miss you terribly!  I miss your daddy, the doggie, and home.  Today you turned 6 months!!! You are doing so many things now - you are sitting up on your own, you can stand and hold on to something, like the couch, or someone.  You love to try to crawl... you are scooching backwards in your efforts right now.  You really like to take things apart - you have these little stacker toys that I build for you and you tear down.  Hunter you don't like the pacifier, never really have.  You do like skin, however.  Sometimes you suck your fingers, sometimes your thumb.  Sometimes your thumb through your sleepsack or any cloth.  You have been rolling over for a while now - you mastered the hard one first, or so Dr. Goldberg says.  You rolled from your back to your tummy on your 5th month bday... and have been doing it since.  Last weekend you rolled over in your crib from your back to your tummy.  I was pretty nervous about this b/c it is safer for you to sleep on your back... Today, Daddy told me you flipped over and after two minutes he went to put you back on your back and you were asleep on your tummy - you must like it :0).  You are also quite the talker... Hunter babbles.  Sometimes you sound like you are singing a song, the tone and pitch go up and down.  You screech, squeal, all in delight!  Hunter you also love books!!!  Especially, "How Big is Baby Elmo" - He is SO big and on the last page out pops a large baby Elmo w/ his arms up in the air.

What a blessing you are!  You are a happy baby boy - one of the happiest babies I have ever been around.  And I love you and love you and love you and love you!!!!

Blog followers - pictures to come when I get home and can upload some new ones.
